- I've owned this for almost a year now and I love it. It's a simple, no frills coffee pot. It brews the coffee the way it should, with all the flavor it should. Reviewers that say it leaves the coffee tasteless and/or watery, well I don't know what their malfunction is. We make 6 cups of coffee everyday, all year round, and still going strong. I would definitely but this again. :-)
- I have had my MC for about one month now and the only problem I had is the little nob on the lid broke off one side and the lid won't stay on, yuck! The other thing (my fault for not checking) is that I wish this machine had an auto-off feature. I like it when it shuts off after a few hours, I should have read the box carefully on this feature. Make perfect coffee for me!

- I've tried many coffee makers over the years and this model #46201 by Hamilton Beach is by far the best I've ever owned. There are several very intuitive features that make this particular coffee maker stand apart from the rest. The description and pictures on this Amazon listing don't even begin to describe the features that make this coffee maker great, so I will describe them for you.
- I rarely post product reviews, but this product is worth commenting on. My wife and I are retired and thus have worn out many coffee makers during the years. This is the best one yet. It simply makes a great pot of coffee and the design has solved most of the problems that plague other units. Other reviewers have done a good job of explaining the pros of this coffee maker. So I'd like to address some of the complaints that I've read here. (We bought one in spite of the complaints simply based on the 4-1/2 star rating and good comments.)
- I ALWAYS read the negative reviews first. ( that's just my style ).
I am still unsure if this coffee maker will last a long time - the reviews frequently indicated a short lifetime.
